Rough weekend at ASA ... So do these people in the A-Tech still think we are gonna make it through the summer? I heard SH was seen in a uniform. Is that our contingency plan?

I think JP needs a permanet vacation.

If I had a buddy in scheduling I'd be offering a lot of beer to start junior manning SH. Maybe his view of our operation would adjust into reality. Heck, put CT on the line for a month as well.

28 cancelled flights over a weekend? PCL is canceling more than that on a daily basis and our operation is 20+% smaller than ASA.

Funny!

CT probably hasn't flown an actual airplane since 1975!

On Sunday I flew a day line and left a broken 700 in PIT, then flew to DSM and timed out with another broken 700 in DSM. The unscheduled overnight and next day reposition forced ASA to drop four legs of flying for the following four days.

ASA canceled its 950a to CLE today and Delta had shuttle america operate it. Passengers on that CLE flight were rerouted from a ASA CAK flight that was canceled the night before because the CAK bound crew timed out; we need more reserves coverage.

I saw a management guy getting off the bus this morning saying he was called out to cover the shortage.
