Sept 8th is now the first class date off the ATRocious!

60 days, 10hours & 15 minutes for me! I get to be a real pilot soon... W00t!

If the ATR didn't make a real pilot out of you, I'm pretty sure the jet won't...

I know one thing for sure, unless we pick up some more planes/flying come the fall, we are gonna have about 150-170 captians on reserve on the 200 once the ATR guys/gals come online. I guess they are gonna pay us to sit around and fly 12 hours a month.

Least I'll be able to sit at home on SCR instead of the crashpad....don't think I'll be flying at all.

For those of you on the left seat of the ATR...planning on moving to the 200 or 700?

Unfortunatetly, I think some of them will be moving to the right seat. Also, there will probably be some moving from the left to the right on the jet side of the house.

With the CRJ instructors bidding regular lines, I think its safe to assume that training has finally slowed down and we won't be backed up in training.

Minimal time away from per diem... good.

Those classes were never scheduled to begin with, unless anyone saw there name on a class schedule. My guess is not, since they haven't posted any for months for ATR people.

Here's what I don't understand. Why are they refusing to send over people who got the award last year, but will schedule a class for someone on long term ALPA leave and a management pilot? The union guy is just going to suck up union dues for another few months anyway, so why send him to training?

Yeah, BM sent everyone e-mails with class numbers and dates, but I'm not sure how official that was. We didn't even get that much until it was pointed out that the contract requires the company to post class dates within 30 days of a final award. Anyway, I can confirm that the first class is pushed back to Sept 8. BM claims that official notification is pending.
