I guess the rolling delays are getting to me. Every day I fly it seems I get home later and later due to wheel up times being in execess of an hour or two.
Relax...it'll be a lot better when we close DFW and the whole family's using ATL. :D

Good Luck!

Relax...it'll be a lot better when we close DFW and the whole family's using ATL.

I cant even imagine what that will be like on 1 Feb. I have seen pic's of the new ATL parking structure and it is really ingenious (talking about the new aircraft parking). I just don't know what may happen when an aircraft breaks or is delayed with the new schedules. Should be interesting. Fortunately I get to watch from the sidelines while on MLOA.

Yes, the new ATL concourse expansion looks great, which makes me really wonder two things: why they didn't do it 5 years ago, and how it will get invariably screwed up.

Swept,

Remember, ASA was not this big 5 years ago. But more importantly, the city of ATL and its cronnies decide what we can and cannot do to the concourse. They apparently did not want any thing that permantly changed the ability to have traditional sized aircraft in Concourse C. According to Brian L. , this has been on the table for a while waiting for the city councle to approve the plan, and as it was delayed it was also modified to fit the changes ASA has had along the way.

While this will be major construction, it can be dismantled much quicker and easier if we were to dissapear fo some reason in the future.

I agree that C is now better w/ the "stands" but I seem to be now permanently banished to D, which has gone from bad to worse w/ the influx of gates; my guys took off mid bag loading because they saw the bus, but hey what else is new. Yeah, gotta love that "Bada Bing Lounge" over there, name fits perfectly...

What's up with the junior people from dallas getting the lot 3 parking passes before the senior people come out? And it seems to be selective.

First come first serve.... They get here first, they get in.
-Let me rephrase that. First to call Linda gets the pass.

Yea I have heard some guys who are coming early are getting lot 3. May be an incentive just go head back that way just for the pass. Not sure how long that will last though.
