DAL already has one in effect. This morning, all DAL flight departing LGA were heard saying "Wind and Bird check?"

The controller responds to Delta "winds are 240 at 3 knots and there is a pigeon sitting on top of the jet bridge at gate C 20, say intentions".

MAYBE ASA puts new guidelines in place to keep us safe? MAYBE they are doing what they should do and learning from other's mistakes. Maybe they're looking out for our well being
