Also Delta MEC Chairman Malone coming over and offering his support was welcomed too by our pilot group. Thanks Delta Pilots!
Support, well sort of.... Malone was there to speak at the Shareholder's meeting and talk about mainline not giving an inch on retirement benefits. One ASA pilot in attendance expressed concern about Chautauqua, Mesa and how mainline's scope tactics had resulted in a free for all whipsaw at Connection. Malone literally glared at him for an instant, then turned his back on the guy. Malone's body language repeats what ALPA National's position with regard to ASA pilots is. ALPA will offer its "support" while holding back the tools to fix the problem.

She is a good pilot, standing up for a good cause.

Everyone else :

We are "Comair aircraft delivery test pilots" if you realize that ASA reserve pilots are being used to shuttle ASA Airplanes to maintenance for reconfiguration into Comair Airplanes. Most delivery text pilots do the job in less than 25 hours, but, to be sure Comair gets only the best, we have been testing "their" airplanes to their limits 18 hours a day for over 9,:):):) hours. Apparently most of the 860 and 870 registered airplanes are going to Comair.

Apparently Crew Scheduling has had a difficult time finding pilots to take ASA airplanes to COmair. Why don't we just tell Comair if they want them, to just come and get them.

Why is Comair taking ASA a/c? What's this all about?

The plane that was brought down to MCO, N862AS, is a 50 seater. In fact all of the 860 series birds are 50's. We are giving CMR 10 50 seaters and recieving 12 Indy 50 seaters from GECAS. The reason I have heard is because of the leasing company on these A/C. Delta wants the leases cleaned up and at one airline, probably to make either ASA or CMR a little more appealing for a sale.

Delta will sell both these outfits and keep a bunch of the planes. CMR and ASA will have much bigger problems ahead of them.

But didn't CRM already strike a few years ago and get what they wanted....

What are they bitching about right now?

Follow their lead ASA...get released, do your cool-off, and strike. Then Delta will cave and give you what ever you want right...it's all about supply and demand, and you've got the upper hand in that right now, right :)

Are you reading things from out in space there buddy?? I haven't seen or heard any CMR pilot bitching about anything.. Can you tell me what tomorrow's lottery numbers are for California?

Isn't that exactly what your lawsuit asks for? Here are some facts about your lawsuit you were probably unaware of, the RJDC doesn't differentiate between wholly owned and non wholly owned. Limitartions on Mesa bidding DL code is illegal according to your lawsuit. Nothing in the RJDC lawsuit calls for a single seniority list or PWA, but rather the elimination of any scope restrictions on an airlines code. The RJDC believes no pilot group can control an airline's code. Welcome to the whipsaw world the RJDC loves.

Who's lawsuit are you talking about, are you referencing that this is the ASA pilot groups lawsuit, you better get your facts straight pal. A few do not speak for 1740.

More misinformation, your fantasies are not everybody's reality.

So, enlighten me jehtplane, was the CMR strike sucessful in the eyes of the pilots?

Set the record straight.

I was referring to the RJDC lawsuit and Fins support of it, not the overwhelming majority of both ASA and CMR pilots who do not support Dan Ford and his RJDC.
