During our most recent negoiating sessions in SAV, we proposed hiring of furloughed DAL pilots before any other pilots. ASA management is opposed to this which is strange as we already hire furloughed DAL pilots, and we're owned by DAL. Just thought ya'll would like to know!

>>>>How much priority did ASA pilots get at DAL when they were hiring?<<<<

Not the point pal!

Furloughed pilots, all of them, should be given priority in hiring. It's the right thing to do. A lot of ASA pilots were in fact hired in the last 5-6 years at DAL. They may not have had any priority but they are still our friends and brothers and sisters! I say give 'em priority!

WOW!!! that is the reason why ASA guys\gals ROCK! I hope when the music starts again at DAL you will be hired immediately....IF that is your wish! who knows anymore in this industry!!

Freebrd.......Why should furloughed pilots have priority? I think it sucks that we are all furloughed, however, I don't think we deserve anything except recall rights. We made the decision to go to the majors. I don't remember being offered Regional rights if my company furloughed.

I think it would be great if ASA does hire more DAL furloughed pilots. It just sounds to me like you think you have the right to push others aside to get to the right seat of what you claim to despise.....those d#@* RJ's.

ASA Management....worthless.

I have no idea why ASA management would give two **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED**s, but not much they do makes any sense. I am very happy to see that we are at least floating this idea. Help out mi familia first and foremost, then move onto other furloughed brothers and sisters from the ALPA (dysfunctional) family, then onto other folks. Just makes sense to me. Delta was really good about hiring ASA guys/gals the last time they hired.

I don't think Delta was really good at hiring ASA folks, they were just hiring a lot of pilots. Among them were some ASA crews.

Correct me if I am wrong (and if I am, I apologize), but there was not a "flow through" agreement between ASA and DAL.

Nothing formal, but they **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** near cleaned out the entire Brasilia training department in one shot. So much so, they had to come to an agreement on how many instructors they could take at any given time. They hired quite a few ASA people-but you're right, nothing formal.

ASA pilots are awesome. When Delta is hiring again, I will be first in line to try and get ASA pilots hired. CMR pilots ......not.
