"Be all that you can be!"- too intimidating, apparently.
"An Army of One"- too wordy and too much math
"Army Strong"?

Then there's the Marines:

"We're looking for a few good men".

Hasn't changed in god knows how long.

In my opinion, there's really only one real reason someone joins the Army- the Marines are just too tough.

No offense - but this has to do with military aviation how?...

Well, it was either here or the "Ultralight/ Powered Parachute" section.

How about this, then...

Damn, I miss those Prowlers.

NOW it's a military aviation thing...

Anything beats "Cross into the Blue." I wonder how much money and how many focus groups the AF went through to come up with that dumb line. Aim High worked for 50 years, but I guess that got old, too.

Just as with the Aeronautical Information Manual fiasco, they'll have to prolly amend that to "We're looking for a few good people" soon I'm sure.

Son, since it looks like your were never a pilot in the military, you really don't have anything to contribute to this forum. Why don't you just run along and play in the "Ultralight/Powered Parachute" section.

Well, golly gee pops, I never said I was a pilot in the military.

I was a Navigator, though.

Does that count?

Seriously, though. Looking at your handle, I appreciate where you came from. After all, if it wasn't for the Army, who would sit on all the land the Marines conquered?:)

No, the only reason people join the army is because it's the only branch that will accept illiterate people...

kidding, but seriously.

Hate to thread jump, but what was the AIM fiasco?

Something to do with changing terminology to further emasculate the pilot world?

gringo, thanks for your service. I think it all counts.

frog flyer, in exactly what capacity have you ever served your country?
