My previous employer made us pay for our initial uniform, but after that we had an annual uniform allowance. My current employer never pays for our uniform.

I thought, employers in California who require a uniform to be worn, had to supply it at no cost for the employee. I've searched on google and the California State website, but can't find if this law applies to airline employees.

Does anyone have any insight on this? Does WN, UAL, AMR, Eagle, DAL, etc. pay for California based pilot uniforms?

That is an awesome find. I am very interested in that as well.

UAL doesn't as they say you're based at the Denver Training Center when you first get hired.

Ok, I got the same thing from my employer which explains why I rented a room during training. But what about later? Am I expected to wear the same uniform for the next 30 years? As gross as it is, I almost want to, on principle and so I don't have to spend the money.
