New Southest Commercial Gayest Ever

You know the one where they're all riding on the moving sidewalk? The one where that doofus pudgy captain says, "You wanna fly all over--not browse all over."

So, so gay.

The 800 burns normally around 6000 an hour total and heads down to 5000 an hour in cruise. (with step climbs and burnoff)

The 700 starts off around 5000-5500 an hour and trickles down to around 4500 an hour.

The 757-200 starts off around 7000-7500 an hour and trickles down to 6000 an hour.

No clue what the 90 does. I would figure something on par with the 800 or just a tad more. Considering the acquisition costs, it's a no brainer.

Thanks.

That sounds more realistic.

The MD-90 has the same IAI engines as a Jetblue A320 and the airframe acquisition is worth nada. No kidding! They can purchase them for nothing......what are you going to do, operate them as freighters later?

Nobody wants them unless they can maintain them. Seeing how DL operates 129 MD88/90 types with more coming, the couple (3-8) million to PURCHASE a MD-90 is a drop in the bucket compared to a new A320 or 737s leasing costs.

And CRJ is still the village idiot that we can't drop off at the adoption center.....
