Are the Envoy recruiters on crack???

What the he!! Is up with the Envoy pilot pack? It's like 4-5 pages and they expect it from every employer of the last 5 years???!!!! Is this normal and wth are they doing? Do the other airlines require this??? I've worked as an instructor for schools that are no longer in business....????

5 years? It should be 10 years so they can do a proper background check.

FAA PRIA background goes back indefinitely, background check from previous employers goes back up to 5 years. It's the law these checks are complete before flying the line.

If you are applying to Envoy then you are on crack. Why apply to a gutted, low-morale regional like Envoy? Plenty of better, less-vulnerable regionals out there.

You see your dream classic car on the lot and inquire about it, but the dealer is asking way to much. You try to talk him down but he doesn't budge. You go back next week, but he still won't budge. He won't even talk about it, the price is firm. You go back next week. He's got to come down sooner or later, right? But you discover that the car has been sold. Good point. Certainly doesn't help with career expectations, though. This is a ROUGH industry and I feel for a bunch of my Eagle/Envoy buddies out there who are now reassessing their options.
