April UPS classes?

Actually just got called for the March 28th class. Class of 5 747 FEs, There will be two classes in April (6th and the 18th) 13 and 20 respectively. I KNOW they just started calling today for the April 6th class.

Can Any current Brown Tales out there tell me what 74 FE reserve is like?

I see there are three classes over the next month. I would be happy with getting into one of them!!!!

What's up with this guy?

If you guys interviewed a while back, it's obvious that you didn't score high enough compared to the more recent interviewees to be called for class.

Interviewed January 27th, Medical the next day. Called yesterday for the 28th class. They started calling today for the April Classes. I know this because they called me this morning to see if I could make the March 18th class. I was not able to so they were going to try to bump up someone from the April 6th class.

not too bad from what i hear some of the guys saying. had a buddy who grew a beard at the crashpad--

not sure--but there is supp. another big vacancy bid coming out end of this month--so sitting as an FE--well you may not have to do it long if you chose not to.

I am not a brown tale pilot, but I had one jump on us pre-9-11 and he told me that the 747FE panel was tough. He said know that panel thouroughly and prepare to be called in for sim rides on your reserve days when they need seat fillers in the sim. You are being watched there too. Good luck.

Dude, you may be in the pool. You may be qualified for the job. But why are you so mean to people that are just trying to get info????? Your lack of graciousness suggests you're not the kind of guy any of us at brown would want to fly with. Watch your behavior and watch your mouth. This is a small community. Word gets around. It wouldn't take much to find out who you are and put the KIBOSH on you at Brown. We who are already ON the seniority list for years know people in HR. Friendly advice. Take it as such.

I interviewed mid-Feb. Got the call for a 6 Apr class. Phil Donahue told me it's a class of 13 757 FOs (half international/half domestic). He also told me there's a class on the 18th of Apr. It consists of 5 Airbus FOs, 2 727 FOs, 4 727 SOs and 9 DC8 SOs.

Interviewed in mid to late Feb. 3.5 weeks and counting. Still have not heard anything... Keeping my fingers crossed!
