Hey guys,
I am currently doing aerial photography in SW Ontario (Canada). If our company gets the required certification, we may begin operations throughout the USA (beginning in the SE). I will likely become the Maintenance Manager for our company as well.
As the MM, I will need to ensure that all our a/c receive the proper maintenance when necessary. Furthermore, our a/c will have to be maintained according to our company and Transport Canada standards, as our a/c are all Canadian-registered.
A few questions for those in the know:
1. Is there a website that provides a list of all approved FAA Repair Stations? We operate Cessna 152 a/c, and if necessary, we will need to find suitable repair stations to get the required 100 hour/annual inspections completed.
2. Do you think it would be a problem to find a repair station willing to perform the maintenance for us according to Transport Canada standards? ie) the station will need to use our company approved inspection checksheets. I really doubt the maintenance standards between TC and the FAA are different, but I am not sure if many repair stations would be willing to take on non-USA registered a/c.
Thanks in advance,
Chris.
