Major details of the Tentative Agreement are as follows:


--A reduction of approximately 2,500 pilots over the next year,
including retirements. Therefore, the number of furloughs will
be somewhat lower than 2,500 pilots. This number also includes
approximately 405 non-furlough-protected pilots. We do not know the exact number of pilots at this point who will be subject to furlough.

--Pay cuts of 23% from current rates beginning May 1, 2003 for
the first year.

--Pay cuts of 17% from current rates for each year thereafter.

--1.5% annual pay raises beginning May 1, 2004.

--Profit sharing of up to 15% annually.

--Stock options.

--No change to the A- and B-Funds.

--Agreement to allow furloughees into CRJ-700s and excess RJ50s.

--51+ seater to AA, if cost competitive.

--Loosen RJ50 wraps.

--Allow Domestic Code Share.

--International baseline agreement.

--Process to resolve disputes over foreign ownership.

--Process to resolve AX disputes.

--No change to per diem.

--No change to International override.


--Eliminate CKA pay buckets. Check Airmen to be paid what they
can hold on the line.

--Change night window to 2300-0559 home base time.

--Increase night pay to $5.00 an hour.

--Eliminate all half-day/half-night pay differentials.

--Increase monthly maximum for lineholders to 78 hours.

--New reserve system based on low GTD (hours) for assignment.

--E-time changed from 1:1:45 to 1:2.

--Increase monthly maximum for reserves to 85 hours.

--Increase reserve guarantee to 73 hours.

--Decrease days off by one day on reserve. Eleven days off in a
30-day month and 12 days off in a 31-day month.

--Military reserve movement of DFPs.

--Vacation based on hours. 3:15 a day. Unlimited splits,
minimum of seven days.

--Retain unlimited PVDs.

--Sick bank based on hours. Pay flat rate (5:00/ day regular;
3:00 day reserve).

--Eliminate pre-vacation 48s.

--Company access to open time for IOE within 72 hours of trip,

unlimited before SEP (for one year) and then after SEP thereafter.

--Eliminate split reliefs.

--IOE status after training.

--Tulsa language.

--Increase lock-in period (months): 12 to 24 up; 18 to 24 down.

--Master reshuffle. Enhanced displacement run.

--Eliminate two-seat requirement on B767-300 and B777.

--Eliminate Captain floors from the Transition Agreement.

--Allow CPA bank payout above 50 hours.

--Allow CPA cash-out.

--Eliminate paper bids.

--Commuter policy.

--Retain medical disability.

--Health care changes.

--First-year hourly pay.

--Allow for unlimited recall of furloughees.

--Probation period: 12 months or 400 hours, whichever is less.

--Discipline, Grievance, hearing, Pre-Arbitration and System
Board of Adjustment language.

--Agency Shop.

--Passes for furloughees.
