Lighten up any time there, Francis. You're little "winkie" at the end of your post ain't foolin' anyone here.

You're right, I didn't really mean the winkie. It was supposed to be like irony. Like the one on your post.

My god, you zoomies really do have your sense of humor removed out there in CO.

Not a zoomie - I went through ROTC with the firm belief that you couldn't make 2Lt below the zone. :D

Sense of humor is quite intact. I guess I'm not very good at interpreting the subtleties of ironic posts - my apologies.

I guess the "End of Times" will begin at 2300 tonight. Some goofball preacher was on the local news telling his hypnotized flock that this is it.

Ahhh, who cares anyway.

Man, is he gonna have one hell of a hangover tomorrow . . . . of course, he will probably tell his congregation that he alone persuaded Jeeeeeee-uh-zusss to intervene.

You centerline theorists need to lighten up. It was funny.

But to the point when I flew "targets" around I was always more concerned with the Flanker. Seemed like better technology and enough gas to stay in the fight for awhile - any of zipper suited sun gods care to comment?

I would rather fight the Fulcrum than the Flanker, for a variety of reasons. Yes, the Fulcrum is a great airshow plane and has some impressive videos out there, but everyone should remember all that stuff doesn't always translate well to a dogfight.

As for the F-22 question...it's a whole new ballgame now. When the F-4 guys did BFM with the new F-16As, they all thought "well, this changes everything." Same deal, but probably more of a leap.

This ain't good. Hamas affiliated group just executed an 18 yr old Israeli civilian. I swear these islamists are f***** savages. Gonna get much uglier, I think.

How are they any more savage than the criminals here in America? Really, do a web search for all the crime here in a given day (read all the local newspapers online) and you'll get a quick reality check. We live among some of the most vicious savages right here!

I've been to both Syria and Israel. This is a regional conflict that is no more deadly than certain parts of our own country. The press reports the hype on that side of the world though so we only see the violent aspect of that region. Here, rampant violent crime coupled with inept law enforcement is just accepted. So we actually "feel" safer here. Fact is, while I feel safer here in the USA, I was probably much safer when I lived in the middel east. There is just too much tolerated crime here.

Then feel free to go back anytime. When was the last time anyone got beheaded on tape here in America? Or sent a 17 year old to a market square to kill himself and 50 other men, women, and children? Makes me sick to my stomach when people can compare the actions of terrorists to what goes on here. You need a reality check. Your bias is showing.

If you can't see the difference between terrorist groups kidnapping, beheading, or blowing up innocent civilians and random street crime here in America, you either have an extreme ideological bias, are intellectually dishonest, or are willfully ignorant. Either way, you aren't worth debating.

Because, you idiot, the savagery you describe is state sanctioned! Hamas is the goverment! We have more crime here because we have 40 or 50 times the people. The fact is that you should go back there so you can be safer. Or, we can just start cutting peoples hands and feet off in chop chop square and wrapping up our fine women in black bedspreads so we don't have an impure thought. Lets go further and just force everyone in America to live by Shira law, and the law can be imposed by whichever thug is the strongest and can take power! That sounds good! We should dump this 230 year old experiment in freedom down the tubes and have a monarchy like Syria, where the president and his father slaughter Palestinians when they rise up, but play them like pawns against the Israelis. I am all for free speech so you can spew whatever you want--here you are responsible for fact. Please go home.
