Enough is Enough!

Nobody and I mean nobody talks bad about N40RC!
If you are out there Mr. Collins..your work is fantastic!

That being said..the above posts had me chuckling pretty good. SightLevels while I never tried one are for _ _ _ _ _ _ _. But I could see how they would work for the hard core VFR pilot.

You have to give TS respect b/c they are nasty creatures. They don't like airplanes. I wouldn't ever come close to them unless they are widely scattered airmass cells or I've got wx radar. And let me say Wx Radar doesn't give me 100% confidence either.

Assuming I know how tilt and gain works..how many times have you seen a t-storm but wx radar doesn't show much of anything?

A dorky pilot has the antenna of his transceiver poking out of the top of his Sporty's Bag. Hey...I am that guy!!!
