Flying north over AMG about 1830 local and saw a shooting star that lasted for quite a while. After it burned out, a few seconds later, a guy asks over Center, "Anybody else see that?" There were quite a few replies.

Just wondering where else guys saw it because it appearred close but at altitude, perception is sometimes screwed up.

We saw it, we were up at 37,000, and it was unbelieveable. It started out yellowish, then turned bright green before it broke up into a few pieces. Heard the chatter on center right afterwards also.

I saw it too. FL370 west of ATL. Still have not seen anything on the news about it. But I did find this link on Yahoo about the Leonid shower. It is about a week late for the peak, but I guess it could be associated with it. At the end looked like it broke into 3 pieces. Very cool site.

Saw it. FL 360 somewhere over central Arkansas.

Ever wonder what one of those rocks might do to an aircraft if it made it that far into our atmosphere?
