Is everybody that's going back getting the -9, or are some guys getting the Bus?

New hires will go to both the DC-9 and the A320. The Airbus training program is spinning-up for New Hire training. It will vary from class-to-class.

NWA is sending out PS3 and XBox consoles to ERAU to train in the 300 hour wonderpilots on how to fly the Airbus.

Any new hires going to the 9 will be sent an old Atari pong console to train on equipment of comparable age and technology.

Heyas,

Ain't that the truth. More like old school pinball, complete with the lights, thunks, buzzers and bells (don't forget the mechanical score!)

But the -9 was fully Y2K compliant without modifications!

Back in the day, NWA was putting new hires in the -9, right seat of the 727, 320 and 757 and the back seat of the whale, so this is nothing new.
