Susan Sarandon, in Venice to promote two films, "Elizabethtown" and "Romance and Cigarettes," is happy to be in Europe.

Go figure.

Yeah, go figger. Or just read the next sentence.

She actually had a very good reason to be happy, and she expressed it in the very next sentence.

Now listen, I'm no Susan Sarandon fan. In fact, I've been pretty disgusted by some of the things she's done. But it's not fair to anybody to take a sentence out of context and ridicule them for it.

Let's put her sentence in context, shall we? The writer said she is happy to be in Europe. Susan said, "You guys ask really long questions. In the U.S., they just want to know who you're sleeping with."

Can you argue with that? :)

Shouldn't this thread be on the People Magazine site?

And this has to do with aviation how? Inquiring minds want to know.

The movie was produced by Mirimax, does anyone know if they have a corporate jet?

Before they were bought by Disney I flew them a couple times. they usually chartered. Harvey was a great tipper $1000 bucks every time I flew him.

Since they just left Disney I don't think they have a airplane.

I knew of a 135 outfit at FRG that flew her a couple of times in a baron. They used to pay the flight students and CFI's $25 to sit rightseat and act like a copilot. I think they charged the customers an additional $100 if they wanted a second pilot. Since it was a 135 with an AP, the warm body wasn't needed. At least the rightseater got to log some multi on the dead legs.

What Ever Happened To Gwinneth Paltrow?

She got dumped by Brad Pitt (many moons ago).
She made a bunch of movies.
Her dad passed away.
She moved to England.
She got married to a rocker.
She got humped and had a baby (not necessarily after the previous item).
She named the kid after a popular fruit.
Her mom appeared in both Meet The Parents movies.

I think that about sums it up.
