Wrong. I'm a USMC SAR guy

I am a USMC helo pilot flying Search and Rescue out of MCAS Cherry Point.(VMR-1 Roadrunners)
Our HH-46 is the old Navy D model painted orange and grey like the CG. Our Primary mission is SAR for the Tactical Jet guys here and we also do rescue/medivac stuff for the local community. We are especially useful to the community for over water rescue since Life Flight type guys don't do that. There are only two USMC SAR units left that I know. Ours and there is one at Yuma flying Hueys.
