The only information that I can tell you about that picture is that it looks like its gonna hurt. I hope he survived.
 
My fuzzy memory is that I read it was one of those Red Bull races and the pilot survived with severe injuries.


But then, my wife still has to pin notes to my shirt to make sure I get home OK...
 
PLANES STRIKES PYLON - CRASHES

Accident occurred on Oct 31, 2003 at the Twin Ring Motegi race track in Tochigi, Japan during the Haute Voltige Aerobatics Grand Prix. The pilot, Alexandre Krotov from Russia survived the accident. The Sukhoi SU-26's left wing clipped a light pole. This aerobatic event was held at a auto race track.
 
how he survived that i will never know. that picture is SICK.
