Hey,

Im currently at Uni. of Illinois in 140. Just checking around to see if there are any other Illini here. I've seen some names that look like it.

I just spent a couple of days in Champaign in September.

Nice area, friendly people. Damon's ribs were a nice taste of home, too. mmmm

You stole my name man,
I am in the first office on the left past dispatch.

I am the one from RI

To all you current Illinii students/instructors, when are they going to open that new building at the base of the tower? What's going to be in that building? Are they going to move all the instructor offices and trianers over there? What will they do with the old quonset huts? Just curious...

hey, I hung out there alot when I went to parkland college way back in 88!! are the flying tomato brothers still in town?

go purple riders!!

Got my license in 1962 in a tri-champ with 90hp and orange windows. My instructor sat behind me and beat me on the head, claimed i was trying to kill him!! He went on to head the Purdue Aviation Dept. and worked for the King's videos. Advanced training was in PT-17's, i remember watching a student bounce one the full length of a 5000' runway alternating between full power and glide and then going around and repeating the whole thing.
