Any SWA pilots in Shreveport?

I might be moving to SHV and was wondering where you are based and how do you commute?

SHV commuter -

I know one FO that lives in SHV and drives the two hours to work in HOU. The good part is that he only has to drive it once a week. I know he is trying to get to DAL but I believe the drive will still be about two hours.

he must "drive" a piper cherokee to work, that's 184nm direct.

I'm not a SWA pilot...(though I hope to be in the future!), however, I do live in Shreveport. I can tell you that it is about 5 hours to HOU (not all freeway driving) and 3 hours to Dallas (all freeway I-20). I think Continental, Northwest, American Eagle?, and possibly Delta fly out of the local airport. Being a military pilot, I am not familiar with Southwest's jumpseat procedures with these airlines I've mentioned. You might want to research that with SWA. Good luck with the rest of your class and it's nice to see you guys out of the pool....I've been cheering for you guys on the sidelines!
