Everyone was talking about 3 classes in April but there hasn't been much talk for May and time is ticking. Anyone called?

I talked to Kim last week, and she said that I may be in the may class. I interviewed on Dec 9. I was told to expect a june/july class. She said there was still a lot of details they were working out. She also said that there will be 3 classed in april ( they added one more than expected). She said there will be 2 classes in may, with a chance of 3 classes. They seem to be very busy in updating the class schedule.

I must say that the people that I have dealt with since I have been hired have been awesome. Kim always calls back within a couple of days and always has an answer to my questions. Even though they are so busy, they still take time to call back and are always super nice.

Cant wait to meet everyone in MAY (hopefully)!
 
I was in Dallas for training this past weekend and the pilot update was for 3 classes in Apr. and 3 in May. Hold guys you will be here before you know it and it is worth the wait.
 
4 may class confirmed, calls have gone out. The PD expects 3 classes in may: 11th & (18?)th not yet confirmed. Sure hope they happen. I get the impression that the first week of december interviewees will fill the 4th & 11th classes, but obviously it's however they pull the names out of their Magic Hat. Let's hope lots of calls go out next week when Kim gets back!

SWA gals at HPA a few weeks ago said no interviews until June at the earliest. Can anone else confirm interviews in May, possibly April?

Beaker, I haven't heard anything about new interview yet, just the ramped up classes. They overfilled the pool thinking they were going to hire 750 but now it looks like "only" 430-510 and so they don't want the pool too deep. Right now pool wait times are on average 6-7 months and they don't want it to go higher. I think June is a safe bet on new interviews, if something dramatic changes perhaps May. April I can't imagine, they would have had to schedule the interview teams and call folks already and time is about run out on that...

HPA, Ryan from recruitment confirmed today that interviews start agian in May. only 250 more for the year was the number I heard. 450 for the year with about 200 hired already.
 
I interviewed on Nov 18th and was offered what must have been the last spot in the Apr 20th class (much to my shock and excitement). My intuition from deciphering these threads is that there are many (5? 10? more?) people who interviewed ahead of me who must have had to turn down a class due to military (un)availability or the like.

Oh, I forgot about the military stuff. That's great. 5 months is much better than I thought. I guess 6 months is realistic.
 
Yah. I imagine there are a few military types that are unable for whatever reason to take the first ground school offered to them.

Good luck to all those getting the calls. Those who are waiting still (like me) please keep us all posted if you get the call in the next week or two!
 
SWA interviews

Any tricks to getting the interview at SWA? other than the online app?

Have been online for quite a while, still no call to interview.

Any interview helps out there for SWA?

I interviewed on Oct 12th for the April 13th class. Pinch52's post shows the interview dates. It sounds like all the November intervews will be called for the May 4th class. They are draining about 4-5 days of interviews per class. IF they have 3 classes in May, then they will get through most of the Dec interviews.
