any news at PSA?

anybody know what's new with PSA? are they calling the furloughs any time soon? hiring new maybe?

Not good. Another 30+ furloughs starting Dec 6th and 15 original PSA Captains getting downgraded on Jan, 1 2005.

Thr furlough notices went out with recall dates on them, but not sure when they are.

The 44 already on furlough are supposed to come back in the first quarter of 05.

When the airplanes stopped coming, we got real fat pretty quick on crews.

If we get more airplanes, then yes, they will have to hire again, but this is all hinged upon what happens with US Airways. We cannot accept any more airplanes while in Chap 11.

Time will tell I guess.
