Hi!

I was turned down...about the lowest time guy there. Bummer as I thought Atlas a great career job.

It is fantistic at Atlas, IF you are OK with 21 (or even more) days on in a row. If you want 4/3, don't apply at Atlas.

Cliff, I'm sorry they didn't get a good pilot with you.

I don't know you from "Tom", but I've been reading your post from pre 9-11, back when you were hired at TSA and I truly believe you to be an honorable man.

I know you'll find that elusive "dream job"...

Hi!
I am definitely bummed, but I will just keep trying. JetBlue opens hiring tmo. I am trying to get a US job but will probably go back to Togo on tue for 6 mos more in Africa and then see what hiring is like when I return.
I feel like getting an interview w/ Delta and Atlas were definitely the high points in my career so far...lots of guys don't even get one interview of that caliber.

Sorry to hear that Cliff. Keep your chin up and keep networking...

Well It sounds like 10 guys/gals from here are heading to Giant.

Best of luck to all of you.

Atlas, you are getting some real good people.

One of the Evergreen guys had just finished -400 (LCF) training.

Looks like two newhire classes for the classic. Training staff just notified.

maybe five or more LCF guys and gals, today was not a good day for old evergreen, many resignations. but the old mans profit to payroll numbers look good

What is the shcedule like in general, are there any options? I know seniority rules our lifes, but I'd like to know fact from fiction.

Also, what is life on reserve like?

What is the min days off, or how does the scheduling work?

Also, is there any website out there where I can take a look at the current contract?

Thanks for all the help.

Rich!

The bid for the classic are for what base? This bid is for when?

Any more bids for the -400?

This is from the latest bid award, 2010-3, released yesterday.

Looks like four slots in ANC for the Classic and four slots for the -400 in ANC, 1 in MIA, and JFK grew to 30 slots.

Current class has not gotten an award yet, so not sure what will be left for the next two classes. I know there are a couple SEA guys in the current newhire class that will pick up some of the -400 ANC slots.

Thanks Classicdriver for all the good info you provide on Atlas.

When are the next two classes and have they been filled?

Next interviews?

If hired can a pilot wait for the -400 or is he force into the classic?
