I believe they are going to hire 3 pilots. The contact person you need to send the resume to is Eric Low. I know they are gearing up for hiring, but I don't know exactly when...maybe November interviews.

returning to topic...

Just realized that the poor guy who started the thread never really got his question answered.

I could be wrong but I think he was asking how the interview selection process works, what is involved with the interview?, what kinds of questions are asked?, is there any specific way that someone should prepare?, is there a sim ride? and, if so, is there any place that someone can go for a sim-prep?

All questions that popped into my head after re-reading his question.

Thanks (hope this helps Philo).

wal-mart

With so many rumors about Wal-Mart, it is best to apply and decide whether it is for you, if you get called in for an interview. The process(usually) started with a brief phone call with brief questions concerning your past. They explain the compensation package and relocation requirements. The compensation package includes more than just base pay. After this phone call, they will conduct a phone interview that lasts about an hour. If successful they will invite you to NW AR for a 2 day interview, get to know you session. If successful then, they will fly you to ICT for a sim eval in a LR-35(the next day). The unsuccessful applicants will be asked to re-apply. After that, they will call about a week later with either good or bad news. The interview process is very informative for wal-mart and the applicants. After that process you WILL know for sure whether you want to work there. First class company, with first class pilots. If you are lucky enough to get an interview, go and decide while you are there. You will be living the life of a wal-mart pilot for a few days, and the decision is easy after the process. Good Luck.

Has anyone heard any rumors regarding hiring? I had heard that they would be seeking resumes in early October, but its been very quiet lately.

thanks!

This is anecdotal but...

A classmate of mine in SAV used to work at Wal-Mart and was pretty happy there. If you like the area, it could work out ok.TC
