To help us spread the word - Please post the below information regarding the Pilot Application Process:
Thank you for your interest in working for Alaska Airlines! At some point within the last two years you have built a profile in our database and applied to the Future Pilot Hiring position. As you may already know we are now actively hiring Pilots. In an effort to review your current qualifications for this position we would like you to log back into your Candidate Profile and reapply for the Pilot position now posted on our website. You will be prompted to complete a short assessment once you have done so. The assessment should take you no longer than 10 minutes and is based strictly on the basic qualifications of the position. This will not require any preparation. Please note that once you select 'to begin the assessment' you will need to complete the entire assessment. Answer the questions in the order asked as you will not be able to go back and answer questions at a later time.
The current Future Pilot Hiring job posting expired yesterday, May 22, 2006, eliminating the ability for new applicants to apply to this posting. If you have applied to this posting you must reapply to the new Pilot posting prior to June 30, 2006 to be considered for employment as a pilot for Alaska Airlines. Please note: this will not impact the date you initially applied online.
Once again, thank you for your interest in Alaska Airlines. We look forward to looking over your resume soon.
Regards,
Alaska Airlines Recruitment Team

The AAG has show in in its history they will stick it to which ever group and what ever time the management thinks is getting out of line.

All sarcasm aside, you've just described every airline management team that's ever existed. Every one that was at least marginally successful anyway. Pilots are just labor, and labor always takes a hit when it benefits management. Welcome to aviation.
