I just recently intervied about a week ago and still have'nt gotten any notification either way. I'm getting kind of nervous but what can you do?
At least there's no thanks but no thanks letter in the box yet.

I'm not sure if there's any substance to this but a friend of mine recently interviewed right after me and they had mentioned something along the lines of a slowdown in hiring due to a decrease in new airplane deliveries. Maybe that would affect the rate at which people are notified. Then again maybe the powers that be are busy and have'nt had a chance to review evreyone.....That told my group anywhere from a couple of days...and don't panic but possibly two weeks. I'm leaning more towards panic.

Don't panic just quite yet. Most of the folks in my group were notified within 2 weeks, some waited 4 and a few others had to wait almost 6 weeks. I think they’d call people whenever the training department had an opening for a new-hire.

I hope y'all will get some good news very soon.

Good luck av80r :)

No news is good news!

After my interview I was as nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs.

No news is good news! Until you get a rejection letter you're in the running.

They may not contact you for 6 weeks.

Good Luck!

How's about this one . . .I didn't get a "yay or nay" for five months. That's right, not five weeks, but 5 months.

I have been here going on four years, but every now and then, I'll call my wife and say,"Did AirTran call . . . Did you check the mail yet?".

Hang in there . . . and good luck to ya.

I sent a resume on a Monday, interviewed the following Monday, by the time I got home there was a message on the answering machine and I was in class 9 days later.

Oh yeah, by the way, this was over 7 years ago.
