Just called the SPC update number and talked to nick. They are still in caucus as of 645pm EST and apparently the mediator is trying to get them to work. TA's on perdiem 1.60/1.65/170 over 3 years (wohoo<sarcasm>) and duration(3 years). It pretty muchs ends there. Mgmt presented this morning. Some of the highlights on thier offer:

The previous cola on the 50 has been taken back in exhange now for the Skywest base pay at DOS+18months(non-overide)....so basically nothing for 18 months. 70 pay they offered nothing for fo's and a .25% for captians every 2 years for a grand total of .5% raise. Rigs that dont apply to CDO's. Crappy/non-exsistent scope protection. No offer of retro(which doesn't matter because they aren't offering a pay raise really anyways). No change in minimum days(i think that's what he said or it could have been 11 vs ALPA's proposed 12?).

Apparently the CNC countered around 215 today and the company came back and said they will not change anything. They are still working right now...but they don't want to budge on any of the pay or remaining QOL stuff.

Frustrating!!!

I may have missed a few things and tried to write down all that nick told me. I'm sure more will come out tonight after they wrap up and if you want you can call: 1-888-610-2572 to talk to the guys at the SPC and they will hook you up with the latest.

Feel free to add/correct me on this stuff...he spit it out pretty fast and i tried to write it all down and may have missed/messed up a few things.

It is time for a new strategy. This is not working. I think I feel sick!

We don't have to call in sick...the operations has its own problems, as pilots we just have to do our job. If that means a legitimate writeup at an outstation so be it.

Update on the MEC website

There is an update on the MEC website. Both sides moved a little - company still has a lllloooonnnnggg way to go. Looks like we accepted their per-diem proposal(?) - company still won't address scope/401(k), and still wants us to be among the poorest pilots in the industry.

:angryfire Man O Man am I ready. Let this SH!TBOX operation burn to the ground. This mgmnt team can Kiss My @SS!!! They will get NOTHING from me! Can't wait to see any of the mgmnt team in ops....man is it going to get BLOODY!!!

The mediator must be so far up managements crack it's unbelievable. Release us already!!!

Not going to happen, my friend. The only way to get anything accomplished is to FLY THE CONTRACT! ...just barely! ;)

If we can get our unity to where Comair's has always been, we'll see a change at the table. Until then, we can piss and moan all we want and nothing will happen! When we get our completion facor, and on-time performance down below 50% everyday -- then and only then will we have a chance to resolve this circus act!

BURN IT DOWN!!!

Now did you see this Journey to Excellence memo
Capt. Scott says a question you may get asked....
Why does the CRJ need three pieces of ground equipment when the APU is inoperative?
Am i missing something....1 huffer/bottle, 2 AC ground power.

maybe an air source for the cabin? I know I won't be boarding the aircraft if the temp is below 50 or above 80.

Frapper is exactly right. Companies don't understand English. They understand the language of $$$$. Unless you communicate in that language you're just waisting your time. It needs to be cheaper to pay you, than not to pay you. Until those conditions exist, you won't get a raise. When they do exist, they will come begging to give you more money.

Just crank #2 and burn some gas warming up the cabin from the engine. doubt you coiuld get away with that in ATL, witht he way the gates are arranged.

I'm not exactly understanding the point of this since we are a wet lease- Delta pays for the gas you burn. Also, maintenance is predicated on flight time, not engine run time.

I got an update at noon today and was told the company won't budge from yesterday's offer. Unfortunately, the company prolly moved just enough yesterday to convince the mediator to schedule more dates in March.

Can you say 5 years?

I am sick of this $hit!!

Does anyone know how flight attendants get away with those organized "operation chaos" efforts?

Sad thing is that could be a conservative figure- some companies have been in mediation in excess of 6 years........

Watch this- it will drag out to a point that the company will argue the nullification of the 92% strike vote due to attrition and retirements. Thus requesting a new vote......Truth is- with "Dubya" in office, no strike.

3 Bottle of vaseline for the crew

This place will eat it self. You should hear the way they talk over at big D about all of the crap this place pulls. We all knew that nothing was going to happen this week with the CMR contract open for debate.
It is funny I waited for 40 minutes for the cabin to get warm this morning because of a bum APU and the frickin station called it on time. Got to love that. That is where all of these number are coming from. They took our ability to call it like we see it away. I guess they are that smart.
