It was sent to the webmaster, but since it implicated our names they sent copies to us.

The funny thing is the names of the people named in the letter are only the ones they can indentify. There is no mention of people like Tahomos(who is my personal hero), because they have no idea who that poster is. There are people on here that have said ALOT more bad things about them than the ones listed on the letter. There was also nothing about DrRaptor, their former personal butt monkey, who kept spilling the company beans before they fired him too.

I don't want to post the screen names of the other guys, they might want to stay unidentified. I'm to the point I don't care anymore, Air Tahoma and the Rude family pushed me too far and I could care less what happenes to them or what they think of myself. Still, until they decide to leave me alone and forget me like I have them, I will continue to post my feelings about them on this board.

If the above people want to indetify themselves, I will leave that to them.

The letter was dated February 28, 2005, and since then I have not been asked not to post about Air Tahoma from anybody at flightinfo.com, or has any post about them been deleted. Seems the 1st ammendent stands firm here!!

Apparently I am on that list, too. Haven't got the letter itself - this is the first time I've seen it. I googled this attorney, and it seems that she specializes in employment-related litigation among other things.

How ironic is THAT?!

Anyways, even if we are asked to stop posting about Air Tahoma by the flightinfo people, that's cool. Why? Because anybody with a little presence of mind who wants information about a company will use the SEARCH feature, and they will find out what posters have the information they need. Then they will send a PM. I receive PMs out of the blue periodically from people who do just that. I myself have sent unsolicited PMs to people on this site to get information and 99% of the time I get a helpful response.

There's no "smear campaigns" or "vendettas" going on, and most of us have simply moved on from this company and not looked back.

BTW, flyinyourShorts, I like how you posted the letter with an asterik carefully replacing each letter in our names! Good work.

See you in the Flight Levels, Shorts...

I am proud to be one of the mentioned people. We as pilots need to be standing up to illegally operated carriers! The fact is these shady operators like ATI kill people! So I have no problem trying council someone on why they shouldn't go there. I will continue to do so, and the only I thing I can say about the lawsuit threat.... BRING IT!! I would love to put that airline to be center stage with media! Atleast 50 pilots would testify against them! I have no fear of this! The bonus side I personally know Andrea Cambern"anchor of channel 4 news". She would love to get her hands on this stuff. Well perhaps I should just give her a link to this site! Its about time people really understand what shady operator is.

And to throw the name out there its Nick5600, and proud of my work

If a former employer contacts your current employer or gives any false statements to potential employers, you are entitled to compensation under law for any damages this may cause (ie. not being offered the job, inability to promote in the future, etc.)

If you suspect any former employer of doing this you should contact an attorney immediately.

WOW it just keeps getting better. It is hard to belive a company with world wide intrest would be so interested in a gosip board such as this.As to threaten and try to bully former workers .There must be a roaring fire as there is way to much smoke..This letter to me says all a person wanting a job there needs to know.. that is the company has A LOT to hide . It sounds like at this company there are former employees and former employees not yet hired..For all who go through the doors are as good as gone.
Also Is it true that the captain that crashed at CVG is back on line as a captian? If so????

Infact the Captain of N586P passed his 44709 ride, and is flying the line again. Thta was one of the last things JZ did before he left. If that's not scary, I would like to know what is.

Pilots wanting to join Air Tahoma will also be comforted to know that when the DHL hub consolidates in October, there won't be alot for the 580's to do. I have it from a higher up at DHL that Air Tahoma "will be lucky to have one run, and it won't be in the cities they are in now". So looks like DHL is going to drop the Rudes like a bad habit!.....

Here is a question for anybody on this board. Have you ever met anybody from Air Tahoma that has anything GOOD to say about the place?

What ever happened to the guy they were trying to get him on a training contract recently?

Its a great place to learn down side of aviation. And a great help when your feeling down. All you have to do after leaving there is say to yourself " Well at least Im not at ATI anymore." and suddenly the whole world looks brighter, and your current job looks like a dream.

"Air Trau-oma" Good bits

1)I got a raise when I quit (unemployment)
2)There really aren't any emergencies left for me to experience...
3)Nobody's ever heard of them, so future employers won't hold it against you.
but they are gonna get a bunch of DC9s and.........

When they were offering me a job, while taking forever to produce that "payscale", they kept dropping hints about 727's.

Losers.

727 I heard that too... can you imagine how much stuff would not work on a 727 opperated by tahoma.. i can see people flying it around at 15thousand because the thing wont pressureize..

BTSOMT are you Jmac???

have u ever seen the underside of those airplanes??? in my opinion i belive it is not dirt that coats the bottom of the airplane, but a nice shiny coat of oil. that is probably what caught fire the other night. wonder if O.S.H.A. has ever seen how much oil those things leak???

i heard once that their 240`s didnt leak oil....anyone else remember that one.. lol lol lmao

i believe the owner was making some "special contraption" to catch the oil that leaked out of the bottom cylinders. what a load of B.S.

I think the "special contraption" was a pair of 4'x6' sheets of plastic with absorbant pads stapled to it, held under the nacelles with bungee cords and clamps. Patent pending.
