very suprised they let that one through but I guess you kinda have to be an airplane dork to figure it out...

I had to think about this one. Was there a space on the licence plate? EAT DH2 makes more sense!

Nope no space since AK plates only allow for 6 characters. For those who haven't figured this out go look up DHC-2 on google...

I saw 314LT the other day with a little penned in decimal between 3 and 1, dorky to be sure but clever nonetheless...

Saw one on a beat up CRX in the ACA HQ parking lot that said "CRJJ41FA". What a dork.

A friend of mine has 'FLY 767" but the guy is a retired 76 Capt. Personally I think his plates were pretty cool since they were telling the truth. I used to have vanity plates that read 'E8USMC'. I earned it and I was proud of it. So why do you care what someone's plates say?

The other day a I saw a range rover with I OPER8. Surrounding the liscense plate he had I'd rather be flying MY PIPER. I had to give him the finger as I drove by. What a tool!

Driving to the airport last month I looked over and saw:

A friend had "FARAIM", but I think he countered the dork-factor with the license plate cover that stated "I love Farming"

There was a gentleman in the Arlington, WA
area that came out on the raw end of some
dealing with the feds...so he gets a vanity
plate reading FAA, and a custom plate frame
that said "the" in the top band, and "sucks!!!"
in the bottom band. Didn't make him any more
popular with the FSDO but I laughed
my A$$ off!
