CO to launch service to Tikal/Flores, Guatemala
CO will begin twice-weekly, nonstop service between IAH and Tikal/Flores, Guatemala (FRS) on June 18, 2005, using 50-seat ERJ-145 aircraft. Pending government approval, flights will depart IAH on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 6:40 p.m., arriving at FRS at 9:05 p.m. The return flight will depart FRS on Thursdays and Sundays at 7:45 a.m., arriving at IAH at noon.
Flores is the primary destination for travelers visiting Tikal, the largest Mayan archeological site in Central America.
