I'm just waiting for the announcement that Continental Airlines announces new 1 stop service to London. Using their "state-of-the-art" Embraer EMB-145ZRs, Expressjet Airlines will be flying from Newark to Reykavik to London. Although the flight will take 9 hours, it will be scheduled for only 7hr 59min - legal to start...legal to finish.

I hear that Hawaii and Anchorage are in the planning stages by the Embraer engineers. They're making an extra storage bin in the galley so you will get two packages of mystery meat and stale crackers on your 6 hour flight. They also will have lavs that automatically dump themselves at FL370 so things don't get too ripe on your ocean crossing.
