ANA Flight makes emergency landings cause pilots had to fly manually. haha!

I am sure the problem is RVSM. It is not legal to hand fly an aircraft in RVSM airspace. The controller can let you stay up there, but they are under no obligation to do so, so if ATC says descend out of RVSM airspace, then the gas guzzling begins. They probably landed to get the problem fixed so they could take advantage of the more efficient, higher altitudes in order to actually make their destination instead of comming up short. I doubt an emergency was declared.

Not only do I know several of ANA's pilots personally, but I have also been flying in Asia for more years than I can count. I interact with ANA flights and their crews on many occasions every month.

Some kid with 200 hours has no right to judge pilots in another country...by pictures.
