Right on the money, it will be a mess otherwise with separate operations and loss of efficiencies. LCC still doesn't have one integrated operation.

Agreed, I think it would be realistic for the new AA/US mgmt to toss a DAL contract at the combined group if they can get their seniority list in order.

Pretty impressive that the money hired Crandall to visit Bloomberg a week or so ago to announce that "pilot seniority cooperation" is critical to a successful merger, and now this video. Spot on. Resistance will exist but the majority will see he is correct. It's a no brainer.

What good is seniority when it's tied to bankruptcy rates? I can only speak for myself but I'd gladly take a seniority hit to make 75% more pay.
