Not spectacular.... oversold by 8 in Coach, 6 available in First, for a total of 1 oversale on the whole flight (MD80.) Good luck!

Thanks! Ah the joy of commuting... ;-) Only one JS on an 80, right? It's been a long time since I've been on an 80, but if they can fit 2 JS's on a 73-500 then anything is possible...

Thanks to all of the AMR and MD-80 guys that responded.

It worked out well and I found myself in a seat, despite the oversold nature of the flight. To all of the AMR guys/gals, thanks for all of the rides over the years, it is appreciated. I look forward to returning the favor over the next several decades.
