Anybody flying for amflight know what the upgrade from PA-31 to 99 is at Oakland? HR called me for an interview and was I was looking for a turbine gig, but she said everyone starts in the PA31, and then upgrades to the 99. She also said something about a faster upgrade if you wanted to work out of Sacremento?

You might be able to get the 99 out station out of ground school. They have one opening in Merced NOW. Stays the night in Mather. That run is open now, so the likley hood of getting it is slim because someone else will upgrade/move before you were trained. Just two cents. And in this day and age, that won't take you anywhere. Oh, the Redding run is also open, but an OAK pilot is in training for it.

Citabria, PM me.

Slc?

Is SLC only turbine? Can you request a base like that to get only turbine?

what aircraft are domiciled in PDX. Is it hard to get up there after traning? What hours is the flying done? Are you home everyday or do you have overnights? I am pretty unfamiliar with this type of operation. Thanks a bunch

Yeah, you need special JATO training to get in and out of that lil piece o' heaven. wouldn't hurt to slap some curb feelers on the metro for taxiing around either.
