This is a no brainer......

70 some odd F-100 in the fleet all have 87 seat.....1st one goes summer of 2003....by then AE has 15 CRJ-70s all have 70 seats....the F-100's continue to leave the fleet till 2005...by the AE has change all EMB145's to CRJ and has 67, 70 seat RJs.....AE now does all the F-100 flying at 1/2 the rate......

It's not rocket science just AMR math!
 
The only problem with that theory is that the number of RJ's over 50 seats is tied directly to the fleet size at AA. I would assume that as the fleet size shrinks, the number of 50 seat RJ's would also decrease.

Of course, I wouldn't expect AMR to follow that part of the contract either.
