I'm guessing at least 60-40 pass, almost the exact reverse of LBFO#1 (61-39 fail.)

is that because of the 13.5 percent equity

and then do you believe you come out of CH 11 and Horton gets his $$$ and then the merger announcement?

It's probably a combination of the claim, lack of willingness to fight, being worn down, fear of uncertainty, etc. many folks I've talked to view this TA as insurance going into a merger rather than the uncertainty of an 1113 or worse. IMHO, merger won't happen until we exit anyway. Stay tuned, we should know by 2pm central tomorrow.

The ucc is warning the pilots they better vote yes or they will lose their stake in the new company. Ugly business.

Thx guys. Voted no today, hours before it closes. Was a Yes vote but changed. Head UCC lawyer (Jack Butler) has been attending every road show, desperately trying to sell this thing while AMR and US have remained silent. Inviting the fox into the coop! Something stinks... looks like the UCC absolutely needs a contract between AMR and the pilots, which spells leverage for us in fixing the last remaining things in the TA to TRULY bring it up to an ISC. Good luck to us all today... should be out by 2pm.

Good luck to you fellas. I'm a US Airways guy and I fly your cohorts on the shuttle all the time. Great group of pilots. We have alot to learn from you all about unity. Hopefully the merger will happen and we'll conquer together.

$40/hr first year and $55/hr second year. I hope it doesnt pass.

This is APA President Keith Wilson with the APA Information Hotline for Friday, Dec. 7.

TENTATIVE AGREEMENT VOTE RESULTS: By a vote of 5,489 for and 1,951 against, the APA membership has voted to ratify the tentative agreement. More than 96 percent of eligible members participated in the ratification by casting a vote. Voting ended at noon Central today and BallotPoint t

hen tabulated the results shortly thereafter. APA Secretary-Treasurer First Officer Scott Shankland has certified the results as accurate.

I want to thank everyone who took the time to cast a vote in this important ratification process. I also want to thank the APA Board of Directors and our many volunteers for their efforts throughout the past year since American Airlines entered Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

APA will now turn its focus to helping to ensure that full consideration is given to strategic alternatives before American Airlines’ restructuring concludes. The APA leadership continues to support a merger with US Airways as the best path to a stronger, more competitive American Airlines that will in turn enhance our pilots’ long-term career prospects.

That's it for now. Thanks for checking this hotline.
