There are 1907 pilots furloughed at this time.
Lowest Seniority # on Furlough 11,512
How many planned per month or for the rest of the year?
Nov=112
Dec=102
Counting Eagle Flowthroughs numbers the new bottom number will be approx 11,128
Are there any TWA guys not furloughed?
Yes Approx 500-600 pilots
How far back does furlough go (date of Hire)?
By the end of the year the date's will be approx.
Oct 2000 for the AA pilots and
Sept of 1988 for the TWA pilots
The new "no furlough limit" still allows for approx 1000 additional furloughs (beyond Dec.'s numbers). That would go back to approx April of 1999
eaglefly--AMR has screwed this up. Since no AA pilots hired before the integration were furloughed prior to July(I think that's the month) and the arbitrator said no TWA pilots furloughed prior to the implementation of the new contract are eligible for the flowback, those furloughed in May(the effective date of the new contract) should have been eligible for flowback.
AMR should have been ready to implement the flowback when they began discussing removing the restriction on ex-TWA people becoming eligible for it. Now, they have to unscramble the egg. TC
