A) Who is the contact person to send resumes to these days for American Eagle?

B) What is the address to send them to?

Browsing aa.com didn't pend any results

Do a search on American Eagle. As far as I understand they won't ever be hiring again. The only thing I am thinking is you could check out aviationinterviews.com for an address I tink they will have it.

American Eagle still had 230 some pilots on furlough. I don't think we will be hiring for some time. You would not want to work here anyway............it sucks!!!!!

EAGLE SUCKS

EAGLE WILL FURLOUGH SOME PILOTS VERY SOON....its from a very good source....Even if they had'nt furlough anyone at all you would'nt want to work for Eagle, they still have 8 more years to go on there **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED**ty contract..Good Luck..hope this helps..

1200 TT and you are griping about flying for AE. YGBSM. It just isn't that bad. I've been there and AE has a lot going for it, current management maneuvers notwithstanding; but spend some time in the industry and you'll figure out that the grass ain't always (much) greener.

I agree with AEPilot and Bull...Eagle SUCKS!!!

I've flown with 8 year captains on the ATR that can't hold the RJ in any base. I've got over 2 years with the company and can't hold the RJ as an FO anywhere. Pay sucks, work rules suck, management sucks. Any questions???

With the new AA TA, upgrades will cease for 6 years. Look for possible new-hire classes in 2009.

I'm afrais it's all over at Eagle. Carty finally killed us permanently.

This industry is IMPLODING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hear the CRJ-700s will go to mainline... Ouch!

As so eloquently stated on another board pertaining to APA's TA...
"My airline is broken. Can I have yours???"

After reading the T.A. (APA and AA), it seems that there might be no more restrictions for the 50 seaters but AA guys get the bigger ones. Wouldn't this allow for growth for Eagle pilots if they can get as many 50 seaters as they want? Read this below and respond with your take.

Fellow Pilots,

After intensive, seven-day-a week negotiations for the past
month, the APA Negotiating Committee concluded an agreement this
afternoon with management that the Board of Directors
subsequently approved as a Tentative Agreement. Due to time
constraints imposed on these negotiations, the Board waived
policy in certain areas of the APA Policy Manual to permit timely
review and approval in an effort to avert a bankruptcy filing by
the airline. Both the Transport Workers Union and the
Association of Professional Flight Attendants also approved
Tentative Agreements late this afternoon. Combined, all labor
groups gave $1.8 billion in concessions. APA gave $660 million
in annual concessions over the period of the contract. Our
contract's duration, if ratified by the membership, will be for
six years. The Board will remain in session tomorrow for further
briefings by the Negotiating Committee.

Major details of the Tentative Agreement are as follows:

--A reduction of approximately 2,500 pilots over the next year,
including retirements. Therefore, the number of furloughs will
be somewhat lower than 2,500 pilots. This number also includes
approximately 405 non-furlough-protected pilots. We do not know
the exact number of pilots at this point who will be subject to
furlough.

--Pay cuts of 23% from current rates beginning May 1, 2003 for
the first year.

--Pay cuts of 17% from current rates for each year thereafter.

--1.5% annual pay raises beginning May 1, 2004.

--Profit sharing of up to 15% annually.

--Stock options.

--No change to the A- and B-Funds.

--Agreement to allow furloughees into CRJ-700s and excess RJ50s.

--51+ seater to AA, if cost competitive.

--Loosen RJ50 wraps.

--Allow Domestic Code Share.

--International baseline agreement.

--Process to resolve disputes over foreign ownership.

--Process to resolve AX disputes.

--No change to per diem.

--No change to International override.

--Eliminate CKA pay buckets. Check Airmen to be paid what they
can hold on the line.

--Change night window to 2300-0559 home base time.

--Increase night pay to $5.00 an hour.

--Eliminate all half-day/half-night pay differentials.

--Increase monthly maximum for lineholders to 78 hours.

--New reserve system based on low GTD (hours) for assignment.

--E-time changed from 1:1:45 to 1:2.

--Increase monthly maximum for reserves to 85 hours.

--Increase reserve guarantee to 73 hours.

--Decrease days off by one day on reserve. Eleven days off in a
30-day month and 12 days off in a 31-day month.

--Military reserve movement of DFPs.

--Vacation based on hours. 3:15 a day. Unlimited splits,
minimum of seven days.

--Retain unlimited PVDs.

--Sick bank based on hours. Pay flat rate (5:00/ day regular;
3:00 day reserve).

--Eliminate pre-vacation 48s.

--Company access to open time for IOE within 72 hours of trip,

--Eliminate split reliefs.

--IOE status after training.

--Tulsa language.

--Increase lock-in period (months): 12 to 24 up; 18 to 24 down.

--Master reshuffle. Enhanced displacement run.

--Eliminate two-seat requirement on B767-300 and B777.

--Eliminate Captain floors from the Transition Agreement.

--Allow CPA bank payout above 50 hours.

--Allow CPA cash-out.

--Eliminate paper bids.

--Commuter policy.

--Retain medical disability.

--Health care changes.

--First-year hourly pay.

--Allow for unlimited recall of furloughees.

--Probation period: 12 months or 400 hours, whichever is less.

--Discipline, Grievance, hearing, Pre-Arbitration and System
Board of Adjustment language.

--Agency Shop.

--Passes for furloughees.

This is not a complete list of all items. As of this writing, we
continue to meet with management to finalize understandings of
issues and clarification of language. Tomorrow, we will begin
posting actual contract language to the APA Web Site.

In a few days, members of the Negotiating Committee, Scope
Committee and the National Officers will begin a road show to
provide the membership with a detailed overview of the Tentative
Agreement. You will be receiving a schedule of the road show
dates, times and locations soon. We anticipate completing the
road show around April 12.

Clearly, this agreement will be controversial across the full
spectrum of our membership. As a stand-alone, it is apparent
that we gave a tremendous amount of concessions. These
concessions mean that some of our more junior pilots will
ultimately be furloughed, disrupting their lives. Those
remaining will take major pay reductions, especially in the first
year. No one wants either of these two events to occur, but the
alternative was even worse. If we did not agree to these
concessions, it became quite obvious to the APA leadership that a
bankruptcy judge would dictate the terms to us, and the cuts
would be even deeper.

Please check your e-mail regularly as we proceed with posting
additional information to the APA Web Site.

Sincerely,

Captain John E. Darrah
APA President
