Hello Eagle pilots,

I need some help. I am a NIFA judge that will be at SAFECON 2006 in Columbus OH. Was wondering what your layover hotel is there, hoping to get a good hotel deal (airline discount) as we judges cover our own costs.

Thanks for your help..

AA

Hotel

Not sure if Eagle stays here but...The Holiday Inn at the airport about a five minute drive is pretty popular amongst the rest of the airline industry NWA, CHQ, XJT, CAL and so on....Good Luck!

the ramada, close to the airport(in da hood) gives chq crews $45-55 rates as of a month ago. I believe the signature inn on the north side of town(current chq hotel) gives a rate of $45.

Jaybird, Superatr,

Thanks for the info. The SAFECON site and NIFA had given us hotel leads with discounts that still totaled $75-90 a night... I appreciate everyones help.

Regards,

AA

Have a blast!

I'll suggest the long layover in Worthington if it's at all possible. The shorter one has some excellent people working there, but it's isolated. The other is just off High street and surrounded by lots of stores. $1.50 gets you a bus ride down to campus from there.
