I could be contradicting myself here but if a regional is your career job Eagle would be one of the better airlines to fly for.
A regional should never be a career, unfortunatly too many at Eagle feel that it is.

Well...I disagree. Senior Eagle captain:

-$110,000/yr
-good 401k
-4-5 weeks vacation/yr
-great travel benefits
17-19 days off per month

Unfortunately that is for the very senior pilots. It should be there once the senior guys retire but it will not be for a very long time. I believe it is a good place if you are 15+ years on property. Unfortunately Eagle management will always be the same and the APA will always have their 'scope' on Eagle pilots.
If you want out take your first upgrade. Do not wait for the jet. I was a Saab captain for just over 4 years and was on reserve all but 4 months. Lots of ready reserve too. Many guys at Eagle around my seniority fell into the Eagle black hole. Enjoying weekends off, great schedules as senior FOs and did not want to bite the bullet to upgrade. If you want out take that upgrade in the ATR or SF3, commute to SJU, LAX, or DFW and suck it up on reserve for a year. It was worth it for me.
