I know they used to have a PA-31 run out of CMI in one of the sorriest looking and sounding Chieftians I have ever seen. I know cargo doesn't care, but the oil dripping out of the engines of this thing was amazing.
Pilot was a nice guy. I think it was a Fed reserve run and it went away when the branch closed. They used to have an MU-2 at IND, but it has since dissapeared as well.
Anyone know who the MU-2 out of MCI is? I saw them take off the other night with a load of bags. Two pilots though.

american check

I used to fly the sorry looking navajos out of cmi. Fortunately they ran better than they looked. Flew 7 legs a night 4-5 nights a week. Pay was ok when I was there. I believe it was around 32000 but I never had any benefits. Maintenance sucked but whats new with freight.

there is 2 MUs that come into CVG from CLE I think, and there is one that goes from RIC to BWI

This would be for the HWD based MU doing that night run to BUR.

Just wondering how the company is overall to work for.

I don't want to start a whole mu2 discussion but I know they have lost several mu2s in accidents. 2 in the same year if I remember. Search the net and you should find some info. They used to operate under the name Flight line.

I know the history and know about the MU2. Just looking for company specific info. Thanks.

On that note I thought the company was descent to work for. There wasn't any pressure to fly in horrible weather and they let you make the go no go decisions. Maintenance was a little iffy but that goes for most 135 freighters. The pay was descent and if you like working those hours its a good gig. I have a friend that has been there for 5 years plus and loves it.

Acat,
Thanks! I figured it would be kind of a run of the mill place. Appreciate it.

One of our guys used to fly the moo over at ACT. He seemed to think it was ok, although as above, the maintenance might be a little dicey. Plane flies fine, just learn the engine out stuff.

Worked for them several years and I enjoyed the work and like the people...if it is the kind of flying you enjoy they are a great group to work for...PM me if you like
