Don't need any advice re: the MU-2. I've flown it, I like it and I'm pretty sure I can handle it.
Thanks in advance.
icefr8dawg said:I keep seeing nondescript MU-2's around the airports this trip and I've asked who owns/operates the runs and besides ACT I found that EPPS operates an aircraft out of BWI, it may be the same plane that departs PHL around 2-3am. But anyway, I've seen cargo mu2's in HOU, PHL, BKL, SLC, BWI, MKE, STP and BJC this week so there've got to be a whole bunch of operators out there that we just don't know about.
I'll post when I figure out who owns them.

Pilot error as to what I heardbarnyard said:2 of their MU2 s crashed last winter in APA.
How bout now? Any news?
I know they were hiring recently, I saw them post on Climbto350.com...
there is 2 MUs that come into CVG from CLE I think, and there is one that goes from RIC to BWI
I don't want to start a whole mu2 discussion but I know they have lost several mu2s in accidents. 2 in the same year if I remember. Search the net and you should find some info. They used to operate under the name Flight line.
On that note I thought the company was descent to work for. There wasn't any pressure to fly in horrible weather and they let you make the go no go decisions. Maintenance was a little iffy but that goes for most 135 freighters. The pay was descent and if you like working those hours its a good gig. I have a friend that has been there for 5 years plus and loves it.
