The captain I was flying with last night told me that he had seen on the news about a week or so ago that an America West 737 lost its radios going into Vegas, and they had to clear the airspace out for them.

Anyone heard this, or know of any articles online where I can read more about this? I've searched all the Vegas newspapers online and haven't found anything yet.
