Got hired by America West today along with 6 other really great guys. What a stand up interview process...couldn't have asked for anything more professional or friendly. Looking forward to a long career here.

Cactus A-320 Cactus 73 Pondscum Whisky Driver and Skippy 767, thanks for all your help and support.

Make that two.......

Hey PR,

Congrats on the interview!! Make that two of us.... I also got hired this week, finished up the sim and panel interview on Tuesday - I think maybe I ran into you Monday afternoon?

What a great group of people at AWA, a most outstanding interview experience, very rewarding! I was very impressed with Cactus.

For those of you keeping track of the timeline: resume sent in Jan, walked application back in last week of June about a week after getting it .... Called first week of October for interview on 10/12 - but had to postpone till the 19th because of recurrent checkride at current company.

To all of you AWA guys out there, to echo PR, thank you for all of your informative and interesting posts over the past few months... have read every word... just never posted - wanted to keep things "quiet" at my current employer until it was done..... THANK YOU!

CAN'T WAIT TO GET TO CLASS!

Yeah, I was in the sim prep with you I believe. Congrats on getting hired!

I forgot to put the timeline up - resume walked into CP in late march, application in July...walked it back in a few days later, call for interview in october....so just about 7 months from start to finish.

I got the call from Tiffany for a Nov. 4 interview. Will do K & S the night before. Resume walked in back in March, got the app. in July, mailed it in right away.

Tiffany said if I get hired, be prepared to be based in LAS.

Good job PositiveRate!! Welcome.

See you in Vega$ :)

Awesome news reepicheep! I was hoping you'd find something soon.

Let us know how it goes.

A friend of mine just finished training there. If you'd like, I could arrange an internet introduction if you need gouge before the K&S prep.

Tooslow,
If that Q was for me, the answer is 0 turbine PIC.

on your 6,

they told us BUS or BUS....she said there's a very slight chance they might do some 757 stuff, but prob not for us.

0 turbine PIC, how did that happen? Sign me up!!!
The biggest misconception in the world is that ALL MAJOR CARRIERS REQUIRE PIC TURBINE TIME!!! This thinking usually costs several hundred seniority numbers!!!

I have said this before APPLY!!!!! let the company tell you your're not qualified!!!!
