Additionally, don't plan on ever working at another airline because they will never hire you.

You say that like it's the Union leaders that get to do the hiring at airlines.

Remember that HR departments are MANAGEMENT driven entities and pro-management attitudes will probably get one further in an interview than pro-union attitudes.

Any decent airline has a pilot hiring board that reviews the applicants also. Management doesn't make the decisions themselves. The only airline jobs that guys like this are able to get are the non-skeds and occasionally one of them slips through the cracks at Jetblue it seems. Other than that, your career is pretty much screwed after scabbing or working at a Freedumb/Ho-Jets type carrier.

The regionals are ruining the industry, and you guys need to start asking for more money. Take your union, and get rid of them. The regionals are going to own the industry real soon, and you need to stick up for you guys. Get good contracts, and stop being happy about flying a jet, any idiot can do that. It is all about quality of life and pay. Wake up, you are taking over the majors flying, so your job is permanent. Good luck.
