OAJ and DHN are safe. Both hotels are decent. The only one you might have an argument on, in the entire system would be Knoxville- where you have to walk the cosway from the airport to the hotel. If they are uncomfortable about it, they need to ensure transportation is provided.

You're implying that it's too dangerous to walk from the Airport to the Hotel connected to the airport at TYS? Man..you'd be scared in my neighborhood. I don't think too many rapists are hanging out at the Knoxville airport.

I think their main concern would be stalker types on the airplane that they were working on then following them to the hotel. Of course we have some pilots like that
 
Only the 4th of Feb. and already taken three delays due late arriving flight attendant from a connecting flight!
I wonder how John Poppawhatever is going to spin this to be the pilots' fault. We should set up a pool on how long is Crew Informer screed is going to be.

doesn't matter if wx had anything to do with it..now you have 2 or 3 flights delayed instead of 1 if we stayed together. too many opportunities for things to go wrong under this system.
 
You folks are missing the point and not seeing the forrest for the trees......................

This system sucks, but if it weren't for the split model, we'd have schedules far worse than what we have now. They aren't going to increase the flight attendant staffing model, so the only option is to adjust our pairings and work schedule, for the worse, to accomodate same crew pairing models.

Frankly, I'd rather them do this than ream me with and everyone else that flies with a crappy batch of nothing but four day pairings. We, the pilots, have a reasonable amount of three days due to the split model. I'll take the three days and deal with flight attendant delays..................................
 
I agree with you in a way, but think that they should just staff the airline adequately to handle the schedule properly.
