Alternate airport list

Is there any website or source to find a list of alternates for some of the major airports in the world? At my previous employer, we had a list of airports and distances from the original destination. It made planning a bit easier.

I don't have a link to exactly what you are looking for, but if you use www.fltplan.com the website recommends alternate airports for you, based on your destination.

Maybe someone else can help more.
